Here is a feature many phpFox network owners requested – Stories!

Stories app adds an option for users to post a new photo or video right from his computer or mobile device.

What’s New?

NEW:
– Stories can now be recorded and played on iOS and other mobile devices;
– it’s now possible to upload a file from computer or take a photo / video.

FIXED:
– ignoring stories in unsupported formats for iOS users;
– better autoplay for videos;
– layout improvement for cases when a lot of users are posting a story within a short period of time;
– better upload photo / video and take photo / video buttons layout.

Browser support

  • Chrome: supported (v49+);
  • Firefox: supported (v58+);
  • Chrome on Android: supported (v66 confirmed);
  • Samsung Internet (v6.2+);
  • IE / Edge / Safari / Opera: not supported;

Requirements

  • App requires https protocol because of browser API requirements;
  • phpFox 4.6+ required.
